Natural Treatment For Any Kind Of Ulcers

Ulcers may form where the skin is cut or broken and does not readily heal. When the tissue has been destroyed by a burn, cut, or wound of any kind, pus may form.

When this happened, and does not heal readily as mentioned, treatment is needed which can be done at home. A light diet is necessary, and the food must be well digested. The bowels must move two or three times a day. Use laxative herbs and high enemas. Steep one teaspoonful of golden seal, and one-half teaspoonful myrrh in a pint of boiling water. This solution cannot be excelled as a cleansing wash and for dressing. Take a tablespoonful of this six times a day, internally. Mix together two teaspoonfuls of powdered golden seal, and one teaspoonful myrrh, sprinkle on the ulcer after it has been thoroughly washed. Bandage loosely with bandaging.

Any one following herbs maybe taken internally with benefit. Use two or three mixing equal parts thoroughly, and use a heaping teaspoonful to a cup of boiling water, strain, and drink four cups a day, one an hour before each meal, and one upon retiring.

The herbs:

Bayberry, golden seal, ragwort, lady"s slipper, chickweed, sage, wood sanicle, slippery elm, bog bean, ground ivy, bittersweet, agrimony, and raspberry leaves.
